Finishes

My spring/summer 2018 finishes comprise of a complete collection of eco friendly aniline dyes.  These finishes are water based and safe for both the craftsperson applying them and the family that will enjoy the piece for generations.  The beauty of pure aniline finishes comes from the raw nature of the wood species they accentuate.  My finishes are designed to showcase the highs and lows of the wood they pair with.  This means that the exposed wood on the frame will act like a hand knotted rug and have a light and a dark side.  Natural light catches different grain patterns and creates a very unique color variation.  No two pieces will be the same with each telling their unique history.  If you are looking for a consistent overall finish, These ARE NOT the way to go.  Enjoy each piece for its natural God given beauty.
